Bellevue is an independent artist-run agency representing contemporary talents in illustration whose work probes the traditional definitions of the term.
It was founded in 2010 by artists and illustrators Jakob Hinrichs, Christian Gfeller, A...nna Hellsgard & Katia Fouquet.
Bellevue artists come from many different backgrounds, such as illustration, graphic design, painting or graphic art, each with many years of professional experience and with a unique style – yet they all have in common a striving to expand the field of illustration, stretch the rules, breathe some fresh air and visual excitement onto printed matter and show that illustration can be avant-garde.
